No interest will be paid if closed prematurely within 14 days from the date of deposit.
For premature payment after 14 days, 1.00% penalty will be charged on interest rate prevalent on the date of opening of the deposit account for corresponding period, deposit has remained with the bank.
For premature payment of Deceased Deposit to nominee or legal heir(s) etc. rate of interest will be paid as above with out charging penal interest.
Penal interest rate provisions under special deposit schemes shall be applicable as incorporated in the respective schemes.
