I/We agree and understand that United Bank of India reserves the right to reject my/our application without assigning any reason. The Bank reserves the right to retain the application forms, the documents provided therewith including photographs, and will not return the same to me/us. Necessary resolution /Authorization is enclosed. [Declaration to be submitted in the case of partnership firms on the requisite stamp paper and copy of resolution is to be submitted in the case of limited Companies on the letter head duly singed by the authorized Official of the company along-with seal]

General Information:

  1. You should register for 'United Online' with the branch where you maintain the account.
  2. Normally 'United Online' services will be open to the customer only after he acknowledges the receipt of password.
  3. We invite you to visit your account on the site frequently for transacting business or viewing account balances. If you believe that any information relating to your account has a discrepancy, please bring it to the notice of the branch by e-mail or letter.
  4. In a joint account, all account holders are entitled to register, as users of 'United Online', but transactions would be permitted based on the account operation rights recorded at the branch. (To begin with the services will be extended only to single or Joint "E or S" accounts only).


  1. The Customer (USER) will receive the User-Id and login password under sealed cover at his/ her mailing address by post/ courier. The transaction password will have to be collected from the branch
  2. On accessing 'United Online' for the first time, the user shall change the password assigned by the Bank through the relevant option
  3. You are welcome to access 'United Online' from anywhere. However as a matter of precaution, customers may avoid using PCs with public access.

Bank's terms:

  1. Rules and regulations applicable to normal banking transactions in India will be applicable mutatis mutandis for the transactions executed through this site.
  2. The 'United Online' service cannot be claimed as a right. The bank may also convert this into a discretionary service anytime.
  3. Dispute between the customer and the Bank in the use of this service is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the Republic of India and governed by the laws prevailing in India.
  4. The Bank reserves the right to modify the services offered or the Terms of service of 'United Online' The changes will be notified to the customers through a notification on the Site.
  5. By applying for 'United Online' and accessing the service, the User acknowledges and accepts these terms, which will be in addition to the terms and conditions relating to any account of the User.
  6. The USER shall indemnify and hold the BANK harmless against any loss suffered by the BANK, which is in any way the result of improper use of 'United Online' by the USER.

Customer's obligations:

  1. The customer has an obligation to maintain secrecy in regard to Username & Password registered with the Bank. The bank presumes that login, using valid Username and Password is a valid session initiated by none other than the customer.
  2. Transaction executed through a valid session will be construed by UBI to have emanated from the registered customer and will be binding on him / her.
  3. The user shall not attempt or permit others to attempt accessing the account information which does not relate to his/ their account, or for illegal purposes which if done and proved so, will be liable for action under the appropriate law and withdrawal of the facility enjoyed.

Dos' & Don'ts':

  1. The customer should keep his/her ID and password strictly confidential and should not divulge the same to any other person. Any loss sustained by the customer due to non-compliance of this condition will be at his/her own risk and responsibility and the Bank will not be liable for the same in any manner.
  2. The customer is free to choose a password of his own for 'United Online' services. However it is a good practice to commit the password to memory rather than writing it down somewhere. Ensure that you are not observed while entering the password.
  3. It may not be safe to leave the computer unattended during a valid session. This might give access to your account information to others.
  4. Always logoff from Internet Banking when you have finished your activities.

Mandate / Indemnity:

I/We hereby authorize……………………… view/access (name of the first holder) the said account(s) for and on my/our behalf.

I/We do hereby indemnify and forever keep indemnified the Bank and its successors and assigns from and against any and all claims, actions, penalties that may be made, suffered or incurred by the Bank by reason of non compliance of any of the Terms and Conditions of Internet Banking.
