Our bank disburses pension/family pension for about three lac pensioners/family pensioners including Central Government, State Governments and various autonomous bodies like Damodar Valley Corporation, Employees’ Providend Fund Corporation, West Bengal State Electricity Board, Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority, Kolkata Port Trust etc. through the network of 72 Link Branches , 10 Nodal Branches, 1 Link Cell at UBI, Nagpur Branch and nearly 1500 branches .
Central Pension Processing Centre ( CPPC ) of the Bank has been established at “ United Tower”, 16th floor, Head Office on September 01.2010 for undertaking pension payment and all other pension related jobs. Disbursement of monthly pension to the Central Government pensioners is made during the last four working days of the month except March. In case of the State Government pensioners, monthly pension is disbursed on the first working day of the next month.
